Mail Call – Walt Disney World Thank You Note/Sketch

Received an interesting envelope in the mail today from Disney Destinations. Below is what was inside when I opened it up:

Walt Disney World Thank You

It is a simple thank you note and replica of a sketch. Thought this was a nice touch and a step beyond the emails. Curious if there are different characters sketches going out? Or does everyone get Mickey?

Walt Disney World Thank You

The Text of the note says:

Thank You!

We hope you’ve enjoyed the magical memories of your Walt Disney World vacation. It was our pleasure having you visit us. And so, we wanted to share our appreciation with this special print as our gift to you. Enjoy it as you dream of your next visit.

Hope to see you again real soon!

This sketch was specially created by Senior Character Artist Don “Ducky” Williams. For over three decades, he has delighted millions with Disney Character art for books, television, advertising and collectables.

I have not heard/seen any indication of who gets these mailings or not. Wonder how many are in the set?

Has anyone framed theirs yet? What size frame did you use and did you have to trim it to make it fit? Mine is bigger than 5×7.

We just bought frames last weekend. We got mats at Michaels. 8 X 10″ mat with a 6 X 8″ opening. Worked perfectly!

We just got our Mickey. Placed it in an 8×10 floating frame…clear glass front and back… no mat. Was $7.99 at Hobby Lobby
