Disneyland 4th of July Shows of Recent Years & Info for this year

Before looking at this year’s 4th of July activities here are a couple of videos from previous years.

First up Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky fireworks show. This video is not from the 4th but from an earlier day, for several years they ran a shortened version of the 4th of July show on the days leading up to the 4th.

Over at Disney California Adventure they have had a pre-show to World of Color starting in 2011. Here is a video from 2011:

4th of July 2015 @ the Disneyland Resort:
For 2015 a Patriotic finale is being added after the Disneyland Forever show. And Disney California Adventure is slated to have a Patriotic Pre-show. Both of these will only happen on the 4th. Nothing on the other days of the weekend in terms of fireworks.

There are several military groups that will be performing throughout the weekend. Here is a quick summary:

July 2-6: United States Air Force Honor Guard
11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m. – Paradise Pier, near the “World of Color” viewing area
3:15 p.m. – Sleeping Beauty Castle Forecourt
4:05 p.m. – Prior to Mickey’s Soundsational Parade

On July 4th they will also be performing:
5:15 p.m. – Flag Retreat Ceremony (Color Guard only) in Town Square
6:45 p.m. – Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree

July 4th only:
United States 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing Band from Miramar, CA
Downtown Disney District – 11:30 a.m. (breakout rock band) – Main Stage
4:10 p.m. – Prior to Mickey’s Soundsational Parade
5:15 p.m. – Flag Retreat Ceremony in Town Square
7 p.m. – Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree

July 5-6:
United States Air Force Band of the Golden West from San Francisco, CA
Downtown Disney District – 6:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m., 8:00 p.m., 9:00 p.m. (breakout rock band) – Main Stage
