Daynah’s Experience: Fairy Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies in Fantasy Springs at Tokyo DisneySea

disneysea tinkerbell modelMy family and I were on vacation in Japan and one of our goals was to visit Fantasy Springs at Tokyo DisneySea. When we entered TokyoDisneySea, I managed to secure Standby Passes for “Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure.”   In my earlier post – Daynah’s Experience & Tips to Visiting Fantasy Springs in Tokyo DisneySea – I detailed my entry experience.

We entered Fantasy Springs around 10:10am to experience “Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure.” After the ride, I was able to book another standby pass for my family and noticed “Fairy Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies” was available in the app! I was able to get passes for the attraction for the 5:30pm – 6:30pm slot.

Tinker Bell is a fairy who likes to keep herself busy. Her latest endeavor is a new delivery service that she started in Pixie Hollow. The mission of this new business is to deliver parcels and packages to various locations throughout the fairy valley.

What to help Tinker Bell? Then hop on the “Fairy Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies” attraction at Fantasy Springs and get transported into the world of fairies. You will find yourself shrunk to fairy-size as you drive and spin around Pixie Hollow!

Fairy Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies Experience

My family and I met up in front of “Fairy Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies” attraction around 5:40pm. The wait time posted for the ride was 5 minutes, but we walked right onto the ride. Well, we took a slow stroll to the ride just to soak in all the beautiful things we saw in the queue.

The moment you enter the queue of the ride at Tinker’s Nook, you are greeted by giant flowers and mushrooms that make you feel like you are the size of an insect. Stroll through and pay attention to all the little details. There are plant leaves that were painted on with directions, instructions, or maps by the fairies. Buttons, coins, and other human-made items from London were scattered all around the place. Thimbles and colorful flowers are used for lights. Needles and thread helped create the path for the queue. Paperclips and chalks were used to separate the queue as well. Look up and notice that the ride is under a wooden box, held up by large crayons. As you get closer to the ride, you can see some of the items that Tinker Bell and her helpers will be delivering.

Step up to the door, which is made from half of a playing card, and wait for your special buggy to arrive. The buggy has a capacity of 4 guests (two rows that seats two people each). Notice how each buggy has items in the back of it to be delivered to a particular place in Pixie Hollow. In the front is a tag that tells you which part of Pixie Hollow it is delivered to.

So hop in the buggy and let’s go. The ride starts at Tinker Bell’s office, where she greets you before your delivery journey begins.

The buggy then enters into “Summer Glade” where you can see giant sunflowers and sunflower seeds all around you. There is a sign that points to “Mermaid Lagoon,” which is just beyond Summer Glade. Your buggy spins around so you can take a second look at Sunflower Gully and notice the happy honeybees. Pass the honeycombs, you enter “Autumn Forest” with a view of Pumpkin Patch meadow and various harvest of acorns and corn.

Look up and you will see a warning sign of ice ahead as you enter “Winter Woods.” You can see a cave and catch the eyes of the NeverBeast peering out now and then. As you spin around a few times, you immediately enter Spring Valley where everything is bright with new growth everywhere. Butterflies are fluttering and busy painting their wings. Ladybugs paint their bodies with red paint and Cheese (the giant mouse) takes a day off work and enjoys a very large piece of cheese he received from Tinker Bell for his birthday.

Thoughts and First Impressions

Your little buggy follows a track around the fairy valley, going forward and spinning around several times throughout the ride. The attention to detail on this attraction was what made it absolutely incredible. There is so much to see that you most likely will see something new each time you ride it.

“Fairy Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies” is perfect for families, especially ones with young children as small children can sit on an adult’s lap. The ride lasts about 2 minutes long and has many colorful aspects. There is something interesting to see at every turn and corner. My family and I did feel that the ride was extremely too short and wished it was much longer.

No matter which seat you sit in, you get a full 360 view of the attraction’s surroundings. The buggy rotated and spun in circles a lot, so there isn’t a way to catch every single detail on the ride. I would have preferred that the ride move slower so I can see and enjoy everything in Pixie Hollow.

My daughter’s most memorable moment on the attraction was seeing Cheese the mouse at the end with the giant cheese. Cheese has some movement and blinks a few time, making him see very kind and adorable.

For this attraction, I advise to take your time walking through the queue and enjoy every detail. The ride is short and moves quickly, so make the most of it when all the sights you are able to see before getting on the ride. Overall, we had a fun time but wished we were able to see more on the ride.

I would like to go back and experience “Fairy Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies” during nightfall. The queue of the attraction must look amazing with all the flowers that turn into lamps and I bet there is pixie dust magic throughout Pixie Hollow.

Note: To experience “Fairy Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies,” you will need to have a Standby Pass. There is currently no traditional stand by queue.
