Daynah’s Experience: Roast Beef Popcorn and Neverland Popcorn Bucket from Fantasy Springs at Tokyo DisneySea
My family and I were on vacation in Japan and one of our goals was to visit Fantasy Springs at Tokyo DisneySea. When we entered TokyoDisneySea, I managed to secure Standby Passes for “Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure.” In my earlier post – Daynah’s Experience & Tips to Visiting Fantasy Springs in Tokyo DisneySea – I detailed my entry experience.
My daughter was very excited about trying the new roast beef popcorn that was only available in Fantasy Springs. We got in line at the Popcorn Wagon in the Peter Pan-themed land, waited about 20 minutes, and purchased the popcorn in the Neverland popcorn bucket. Roast beef flavor popcorn has a strong seasoning of salt and black pepper, and scents of roasted meat and gravy. This flavor is definitely an acquired taste. I personally did not enjoy it as it left an odd aftertaste. You can purchase the popcorn bucket and pick up a voucher if you decide to save it for another popcorn flavor.
The Neverland popcorn bucket resembles Big Ben, the famous clock tower in London, where the story of Peter Pan and the Darling children take place. The clock tower is a dark blue color with Tinkerbell on the strap. There is a switch at the bottom where you can turn on/off the light option. The light illuminates the entire clock tower. When you finish the popcorn, you can see all four scenes on the tower light up. The first scene is of Peter Pan and the Darling children standing on the hands of the clock tower. The second is a colorful scene of Captain Hook and Mr. Smee on the Jolly Roger, with a rainbow and island in the background. The third scene is of Peter Pan and the children flying all over London. Lastly, the fourth scene is of Big Ben.
The Neverland popcorn bucket is well-made and simply beautiful. Overall, it is a beautiful popcorn bucket with premium features like the lights and lovely strap with Tinkerbell on it. After having been onto Peter Pan’s adventure, the popcorn bucket is even more meaningful and special. That is currently our favorite ride in all the Disney parks. The Neverland popcorn bucket was available for ¥3,500, which is approximately $22.83 USD.
Note: The Neverland Popcorn bucket was aslo available at The Big Pop at Tokyo Disneyland, so it is possible to purchase one without having to enter Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs port.
