Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. If you are looking for fun and crafty projects to make for your love one, check out Spoonful! They have an assortment of Disney Valentine projects to choose from. Best of all, they are pretty simple to make.
Just print the templates of your desired project, cut, and put together. There are instructions to make each item, but most projects are self-explanatory that you’ll find yourself putting them together pretty quickly.
All you need is a computer with PDF-viewer, color printer, and some white cardstock to get started on the crafts. Find the project you want to work on and print out the PDF templates on white cardstock paper. You can use regular paper, but the projects are more sturdy if you use cardstock. Cut and fold as instructed on template and then you have yourself some very sweet hand-made gifts to give out.
I choose to make the Mickey & Minnie Cutie Valentine’s Candy Boxes because I loved the design of the characters. The hardest part about this project was cutting out the template (which isn’t that hard at all). Once I cut up the templates, I folded along the lines, punch holes at the top to tie a string through them. Each box took me about 15 minutes to make. So if you’re looking for a quick but cute project, this one is perfect.
I would recommend this project for kids ages 5 and up. For the younger ones, I would recommend an adult cutting up the templates and then letting the child put the box together. They turned out really adorable, do not you think?
My two-year-old daughter and I made these boxes and she kept saying they were really cute. To finish it off, just drop a few candies or treats inside and you got the perfect little Valentine gifts to give out.
