Battle for the Book! – 45 minutes
Tired of being portrayed as a bumbling fool in Wendy’s powerful book, Captain Hook sails the Jolly Roger to London and steals it! Peter Pan calls upon Jake and his crew to help save the day. But they must act quickly! The longer Captain Hook has the book, the faster everyone’s memories of Pan and Never Land will fade away, forever. This full-length action-packed adventure is the 23rd episode from Season 3.
Treasure of the Pirate Mummy’s Tomb / Mystery of the Missing Treasure! – 24 minutes
This is the first episode of Season 3. In this episode, Jake leads the crew to a Pirate Mummy’s Tomb to help Captain Flynn.
Pirate Genie Tales – 24 minutes
This is the fourth episode in Season 3. Pip the Pirate Genie shares two tales of his travels around the Never World. The lessons learned in the first story is about how to encourage your friends and working together as a team. The lesson in the second story is that stealing isn’t right.
Captain Gizmo / Jake’s Pirate Swap Meet – 25 minutes
This is the third episode of Season 3. Jack and his crew build a mechanical matey named Captain Gizmo.
Sleeping Mermaid / Jake’s Mega-Mecha Sword – 25 minutes
This is the eighteenth episode of Season 3. In this one, Jake must convince Captain Hook to kiss his old enemy, Queen Coralie. This episode showed that friends and enemies can work together. I also saw some hidden lessons like how to count and following steps to get a desired result.

My 1st Impressions:
These five episodes all have musical numbers in them that will surely get your kids toe-tapping.
As a parent, I do not think pirates are the best role models for kids, but I do find Jake and his crew quite lovable. Each episode is filled with many musical numbers which is quite enjoyable. This compilation teaches children about how to work together as a team and the power of using their imagination through storytelling. I also really enjoyed seeing the classic characters in Peter Pan appear in the episodes. It brings back a lot of childhood memories.
I would recommend this DVD to kids 4-8 years old. My three year old daughter was not too keen on watching Captain Hook (or any villains in general), so I would wait a bit before showing these episodes to her. She loves mermaids so the Sleeping Mermaid was her favorite.
