Disneyland Star Wars Construction Check (9/15)
This post has a quick check of the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge preparations at Disneyland taken with my cell phone. For more pictures visit my full picture sets and/or our construction progress section. To help put this work into perspective here is the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Model @ D23 Expo 2017 (Pictures & Video)
To start off with a quick video from the Mickey and Friends parking structure:
A check of the site from the Mickey and Friends parking structure.
The steel for the rock facade of the Millennium Falcon building is starting to receive a wire mesh that will form the mountain.
A closer look.
The exterior wall on the Battle Escape Building that runs along Disneyland Drive.
Preparations for more of the wall to be installed are underway.
Looks like there will be a service bay to move items into and out of the building in the center.
No real visible change on the concrete building.
Same with the wall connection, nothing appears to have changed.
Back to the Millennium Falcon building.
Preparing for the exterior wall of the Millennium Falcon building. Inside looks like a lot of scaffolding is up.
A closer look at the rock formations.
Inside the Hanger area of the Battle Escape building looks like they are preparing for the concrete floor to be poured.
