Downtown Disney – New Walls & Closures

The extreme makeover of Downtown Disney at the Disneyland Resort continues to expand. This past week three locations closed and more walls are up. Within the next week or so the remaining establishments between the Monorail and Disneyland Hotel will close and bulldozers will be moving in shortly after.
Walls are up for the Salt & Straw Ice Cream location that will be moving in later this year.

The walls continue past Wetzel’s Pretzels and to the Ballast Point.

The AMC closed since my last visit.

And Rain Forest closed earlier this week.  As I was taking this picture a family walked up and they were planning to eat there since they saw it the other day.
