WDW Pictures: Disney’s Animal Kingdom – Nigerian Dwarf Goats
A herd of Nigerian Dwarf Goats has joined the Kilimanjaro Safaris animals in December 2020. They are in a penned in area around a ranger outpost near the end of the attraction. This is on the left hand side right before exiting the animal areas of the attraction.
The yard has several props that the goats can climb on and move around.
Here are views of the goats from my two visits. On my first visit January 20, 2021 the goats were all on the far left side of the area. Combine that with I was on the opposite side of the truck and I did not get very good pictures:
On my second visit on January 24, 2021 they were to the right of their space:

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park guests encounter a brand-new experience aboard Kilimanjaro Safaris as they wrap up their journey through the Harambe Wildlife Reserve. The park welcomes a brand new species – Nigerian Dwarf Goats – to the popular open-air safari adventure at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. Guests can watch these miniature West African goats chasing, climbing and playing on the savanna, or get up close with the goats and other animals at the newly reopened Affection Section at Rafiki’s Planet Watch.
