WDW Day 6 – Afternoon – Quick Studios & Animal Kingdom Lodge Trips
In the early afternoon I ventured over to the Animal Kingdom Lodge to show someone around then we headed for Disney’s Hollywood Studios to take a quick look at the ongoing projects before walking back the Boardwalk. Here are some cell phone pictures from that trek. First up the lobby of the Animal Kingdom Lodge and the Christmas tree in the center.

Looking up Grand Ave toward Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
This will eventually be the entrance tunnel in 2019.

The planters are gone and the Muppet Fountain has returned.
Near the exit to the Muppets a new Backstage wall and gate are in, closer to the walkway now.
Beyond it you can see the Battle Escape Show building.
Coming soon signs on the Chinese Theater.
The entrance to Toy Story Land. The bridge and part of the soundstage have been removed. The is the side where the bridge connected on the left.

Beyond Pixar Place Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is rising above berm that has been constructed.

On the walk back spotted this.. appears to be a model showing the location and size of the sky liner support tower.
