With the start of the 2012 holiday season upon us and the parks receiving more decorations on a daily basis thought it would be fun to look back at some recent years and how both Walt Disney World and Disneyland celebrated the season. Also included are some pictures from aboard the Disney Dream last December.

• Disneyland Trips from 2011 season:
  • Friday, November 11, 2011 –
    Pictures from around the Disneyland Report as the Christmas season kicked off with Small World Holiday and a New Prep and Landing introduction to World of Color for its 1,000th show. Veterans were honored with a special Flag Retreat.
  • Monday, November 14, 2011 – The Christmas Season officially kicked off Monday at the Disneyland Resort. Pictures of the lighting ceremony at Small World, the Christmas Fantasy Parade, the new Tains of Disney exhibit at the Disney Gallery, Believe in Holiday Magic, and some World of Color shots too.
  • Friday, November 25, 2011 – A Thanksgiving weekend trip to the parks. Including a look at the Hotel Christmas decorations, Cars Land/Buena Vista Street progress, Pirates, and my regular assortment of random shots as I roamed the parks.
  • Friday, December 23, 2011 – I kick off the holiday weekend with a trip to the Disneyland Resort. In this update I have more Holiday shots, Cars Land & Buena Vista Street progress, plus my regular assortment of shots as I roamed the parks.
  • January 7, 2012 – Three Kings Day celebration to close out the season
• Walt Disney World 2011 – Pictures from an 11 day trip last December including time aboard the Disney Dream.
