A new book highlighting the many theme parks in Florida is being released today. Florida Theme Parks: A Guide by Alex Miller is a tour of 20 of the state’s unique ventures. It features 280 color photographs in its 160 pages. The idea is to provide a concise summary of the parks and give you a taste of what each park offers to help you choose where you may want to visit on trips to the sunshine state. Alex also explores how in a relatively short period of time, under 50 years, Florida has transformed from a citrus and cattle ranching state with plenty of beaches to the theme park resort center of the world.
Alex has written several other books including one on California Themeparks. He currently works for the Walt Disney Company in Glendale, California. Tony Baxter provides the forward in this book.
I have not read either of his books but they do look interesting and thought some of you may be interested in them so wanted to share the information. If anyone has read them please share your thoughts.
