A visit to Disneyland’s Club 33 (Guest Photo Blog)

** Editors Note: Dereck is a frequent visitor to our site and offered to share some pictures and a brief description of his Club 33 experience. The pictures and text below are both from him. Thank you for sharing. **

We arrived at the large double doors 15 minutes early (pretty excited). Pushed the door bell, and someone spoke to us from the speaker. They came out to meet us, and invite us in.

The Entry way takes us into the court of Angels. We chose to sit and wait for our escort after pouring a little flavored water into a very nice crystal glass. In the entry way is a tall case full of club 33 merchandise. We were told there was another just like it upstairs.

Our escort arrived after a very short wait, and took us up the court of angels stairs. At the top, you can turn left to go to the rest rooms, or right to enter the rest of the club. We proceeded to the dining area after turning right.

We were seated and met by our waiter. He briefly explained that you could choose a 3 course, or 4 course meal (this was early afternoon lunch). We chose 3, salad, entrée, and desert. He also showed us the expanded (his words) wine list. It was quite extensive. They have a Disney section, so we chose from there. I wasn’t in the mood for wine at that time of day, but having a Fess Parker wine (The Big Easy) inside of Disneyland sounded like a good idea. My wife had a Lasseter.

The meal was fantastic. It is very high quality. From our seat, we could see the Sailing Ship Columbia through the windows (through the trees), loading passengers, and going around the Rivers of America. To our left out the windows, was the second floor of Café Orleans.

Once finished with our deserts, we departed down the hall to the back to the second floor lobby area. There, was the second tall case of club 33 merchandise, and another hallway to the members only area. The picture of the wooden hallway is where that leads.

I purchased a key chain for my collection ($30), and we headed back down the stairs. Quite happy.
