Disneyland Annual Passes – My 1st AP, 20 Years Ago this Week – A look back at some designs & prices
I bought my first Disneyland Annual Pass on July 19, 1995.. 20 years ago this week. So with Disneyland’s 60th Anniversary ongoing thought it would be fun to look back at some of the pass designs over the years and almost as interesting the prices. My first pass purchased in the summer of 1995 was a Magic Kingdom Club Annual Pass plus parking. It cost $119. Prices inched up and crossed $200 with a $205 in 2002 which was for a 2 park premium pass. Jumped to $309 for the Premium pass in 2004. $409 in 2009. Then in 2011 I jumped to the Premiere Pass to included Walt Disney World too. In 2014 this crossed the $1,000 threshold and cost me $1062. The 2015 renewal rang up as $1,135.
Here are several of the cards from my “collection”:

So it looks like the change of design is pretty random. I’ve been wondering when they’re going to change it. I’ve had mine for about 3 years now and still the same one.
