Disneyland Season of the Force & Upcoming Closures Announced
Today Disney Parks announced that the Season of the Force will begin November 16 at Disneyland and feature:
- Star Wars Launch Bay – in the former Innoventions building
- Star Tours – The Adventure Continues – A new scene inspired by the Force Awakens
- Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple – Opening in December new characters and villain in the show
- Hyperspace Mountain
- Classic Star Wars films scenes at the Tomorrowland Theater
- Special food, beverages, merchandise & other entertainment
Also announced that the Big Thunder Ranch and BBQ area will close permanently on January 10, 2016.
Lastly it was announced that the Rivers of America will be closed temporarily due to construction starting January 11 this includes the following. No re-opening date was published.
- Fantasmic!
- Mark Twain Riverboat and Sailing Ship Columbia
- Pirate’s Lair on Tom Sawyer Island
- Davy Crockett Explorer Canoes
