Disneyland Resort Lunar New Year Celebrations

This year the “Happy Lunar New Year Celebration” is this upcoming weekend February 5-8 and it will take place at Disney California Adventure in Paradise Gardens each day from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Over the years this celebration has taken place in various locations..

2008 - Mickey Mouse in Town Square
In 2008 the Lunar New Year was celebrated in Town Square with a Meet and Greet.
In 2011 the Lunar New Year Celebration was at the Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree
In 2011 the Lunar New Year Celebration was at the Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree
In 2012 the Lunar New Year Celebration was in the Small World Mall area at Disneyland.
In 2012 the Lunar New Year Celebration was in the Small World Mall area at Disneyland.
Starting in 2013 the Lunar New Year Celebration moved to Paradise Gardens in Disney California Adventure and has been there since.
