Sprinkles Opens its 21st Bakery in the Downtown Disney® District
The World’s First Cupcake Bakery Opens 2nd Disney Location
ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA – Touted as the world’s first cupcake bakery by Food Network, Sprinkles is proud to announce it will open its newest location this November in the Downtown Disney® District at the Disneyland Resort. As the 21st location for the brand nationwide – and 9th in California, Sprinkles at the Downtown Disney® District will serve up freshly baked cupcakes and cookies! Following closely on the recent opening of its bakery in Disney Springs™ at Walt Disney World Resort® in Florida, Sprinkles at the Downtown Disney® District signifies the company’s continued mission to bring the popular dessert experience to Disney lovers.

Launching Sprinkles in Downtown Disney® was a natural fit for us when deciding where to expand our California presence,” said Candace Nelson, founder of Sprinkles and judge on Food Network’s Cupcake Wars. “With its widespread appeal to vacationers and locals, Downtown Disney® is an ideal spot for everyone with a sweet tooth to converge.”
Sprinkles Cupcakes are handcrafted from the finest ingredients and are available in a variety of flavors including Banana, Carrot, Salty Caramel, Strawberry and Sprinkles’ bestseller, Red Velvet. The Downtown Disney® District location menu will also feature Sprinkles signature cookies which come in a range of flavors such as Snickerdoodle, Salted Oatmeal Cornflake and Peanut Butter Pretzel Chip. Sprinkles also keeps an eye towards customers with specific dietary needs, offering vegan, gluten-free and sugar-free cupcake, cookie and sorbet options.
A Cupcake ATM will not be available, but store hours will be Sunday-Wednesday from 9am-12am and Thursday-Saturday from 9am-1pam. The store will be located adjacent to Vault 28 and will open on Tuesday November 15, 2016.
