Disneyland Star Wars Construction Check (1/05)

This post has a quick check of the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge preparations at Disneyland taken with my cell phone. For more pictures visit my full picture sets and/or our construction progress section. To help put this work into perspective here is the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Model @ D23 Expo 2017 (Pictures & Video)

A video overview from the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure:

A wide picture from the roof of the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure.  Several cranes were active this afternoon.

Starting off with a closer look to the far left/north at the Millennium Falcon show building.  The exterior paneling is slowly making its way around the building.

Here you can see how they have just about reached the corner of the closest wall.

The rock work on the roof of the building.  New steel supports rising on the left side.

Not a lot of visible progress on the stairs and other exterior work of the Battle Escape building.

Wire mesh is being added to the taller mountain steel supports.

Stairs being added to the exterior of the concrete building.

More utility work behind the building.  Note the three spheres that have been installed.

Toward Critter Country they were back filling today compacting dirt behind the new concrete structure.

Most of the holes in the Big Thunder Trail fence have been covered again.  Here is one limited view that was available.

From Critter Country you can see more wire mesh has been installed along the Battle Escape show building.
