A new parking structure is being built on the former Pinocchio Parking lot adjacent to the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure with a projected opening in 2019. For more pictures be sure to visit our full Disneyland Picture Set. For pictures of this project from past weeks be sure to visit the Disneyland Construction Progress Section
A quick video overview of the project this visit:
Columns are now rising near the tram station as the perimeter of the garage takes shape.
A closer look at the site starting on the left (nearest Disneyland Drive).
Panning to the right and the row of columns.
Nearest the Mickey and Friends parking structure two ramps continue to take shape and a row of support columns for this edge of the garage are being poured.
Closer to the elevator another trench for a footer is dug, guessing this area is where the next set of ramps that will feed the lower floors will take shape.
In the middle of the site crews are drilling holes for more support columns.
The view as I rode down the escalator.
I walked to Downtown Disney this morning and along the way took a couple pictures of the project from Magic Way. The construction fence is low here so you can see over the top and get the reverse angle of the project.
