Downtown Disney – More Closures & Walls this week

This week the rest of the locations between the Monorail and Disneyland hotel have closed. Here are some cell phone pics from a walk through Downtown Disney.

Starting off with World of Disney.  The side closest to La Brea Bakery/the park closed a couple of weeks ago.  This is what the entrance looks like.

Work continues at Naples.  At least one tree is being removed to open the area up.

The walls surround Sanuk now.  The store is still open and has a sign out along the main walkway as well as a table outside to let guests know.

No real visible progress with the next block.

After you pass under the Monorail everything is now closed.  Here is a look at Starbucks.

The DVC store closed this past week too.

As did Earl of Sandwich.

I saw reports that this entrance will be closing July 2nd.  So I am assuming that means the walls will go up and demolition will be starting by my next visit.

The stage was still up and had two DJs this evening, but very few guests with everything in the area closed.  Just hotel and parking lot foot traffic.
