Disneyland Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Construction Pictures (9/28/18)
This post has a quick check of the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge work at Disneyland taken with my cell phone. For more pictures visit my full picture sets and/or our construction progress section. To help put this work into perspective here is the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Model @ D23 Expo 2017 (Pictures & Video).
An overview from the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure.
Starting on the right side more concrete has been applied to the wire mesh forms as the rock formations take shape.
No real visible progress on closing up the building. The doors were closed today.
More scaffolding has been removed from the rock formations that stick above the show buildings.
Work continues on the background spires. Interesting one support has been removed. Looks like a spire was cut for some reason. It was on the corner in the center of this picture.
Here is a picture from two weeks ago showing the steel support structure just to the right of center.
Moving into the park, the view from the Mark Twain Riverboat today.
A majority of the visible scaffolding from in the park is now gone.
