Marvel Project at Disney California Adventure Construction Pictures (4/19/19)
Marvel is taking on a larger presence at Disney California Adventure. The first phase of this expansion is slated to open in 2020. This is being built on the former Bugs Land area. Below are some cell phone pictures from my visit today, for a more detailed look be sure to visit my full Disneyland Picture set from this visit.
Starting off from the parade route/performance/festival corridor. You can now see steel rising above the construction walls as they extend the former Bug’s Theater building.

From Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree queue you can get a better view of the new steel.
From near Guardians of the Galaxy you cannot really see anything except the top of some equipment right now.
