WDW Video: Fantasmic @ Disney-MGM Studios (Dec 1998)
Fantasmic! has been a fan favorite for almost 30 years now encompassing three variations of the show. On May 13, 1992 the original Fantasmic! show premiered at Disneyland on the Rivers of America. The Walt Disney World version opened on October 15, 1998 in the Hollywood Hills Amphitheater on Sunset Blvd in the Disney-MGM Studios park (now Disney’s Hollywood Studios). The third version of the show at Tokyo DisneySea premiered on April 28, 2011 and took place in the Mediterranean Harbor.
My first viewing of the WDW version was in December 1998. Below is a video and some pictures from December 22, 1998.
