Lightyear Now Streaming in IMAX Enhanced on Disney+

Disney and Pixar’s Lightyear is now streaming in IMAX Enhanced exclusively on Disney+.

Highlights:

• This is the first Disney and Pixar animated film on Disney+ with scenes in IMAX’s Expanded Aspect Ratio, creating a unique, immersive experience for kids and families at home with no special equipment required.
• With IMAX Enhanced, the film comes with IMAX’s exclusive Expanded Aspect Ratio, which delivers audiences up to 26% more picture for major sequences of the film, meaning more of the action is visible on screen, just as director Angus MacLane had envisioned.

• The animated film starring Chris Evans as the titular space ranger will join 15 titles that are available on Disney+ in IMAX Enhanced, including Marvel Studios’ Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings, Avengers: Endgame, Eternals, and most recently Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
