Today Disneyland Resort shared a couple pieces of new concept art and an updated on the project status.
Mid-July – Lucky Fortune Cookery will debut new menu items and Port of San Fransokyo Cereceria will officially open. The rest of the project will be open by mid-August.
Later in summer 2023, guests at San Fransokyo Square at Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim, Calif., will discover the San Fransokyo Maker’s Market, a storefront stocked with unique apparel, homewares and more featuring Baymax and friends. As shown in the concept art, the market’s shelves are situated on robot storage cases, with decommissioned battle bots on display. The refreshment stand, converted from an old fishing net tannery, is owned and named after the repair technician that maintains the floating wind turbine, resembling a giant koi fish that sits atop the structure.
