Magic Kingdom Closures & Changes for Piston Peak National Park Construction

Today Walt Disney World shared some details of the upcoming closures and operational changes for the Magic Kingdom as construction gets underway for the new cars inspired area of Frontierland,  Piston Peak National Park and a Villains Land beyond it.

  • Last day of operation for the Liberty Square Riverboat will be July 6, 2025
  • Last day of operation for Tom Sawyer Island will be July 6, 2025
  • The Walt Disney World Railroad Frontierland Station will also close and the trains will operate in a shuttle mode from Main Street USA to Fantasyland during the construction.
