“Duffy and Friends 20th: Colorful Happiness” Special Event to Be Presented from April 8, 2025 through March 19, 2026

URAYASU, CHIBA—Tokyo Disney Resort® announced that to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Duffy’s debut at Tokyo DisneySea® Park, the Duffy and Friends 20th: Colorful Happiness special event will be held throughout the year. Themed to the happiness that only Duffy and Friends can bring, this special event will feature a variety of offerings, such as merchandise that captures the gentle nature of Duffy and his friends, who find joy in the little things, depicted through rainbows and soap bubbles. Other offerings include special menus, decorations, entertainment and more to celebrate the 20th anniversary.

At Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta®, guests will be able to enjoy exclusive special menus inspired by Duffy and Friends. Additionally, the Disney Resort Line will feature a themed monorail train to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Duffy and Friends, enhancing the festive atmosphere throughout Tokyo Disney Resort. Duffy and Friends 20th: Colorful Happiness Event Story

One day, after the rain, a huge rainbow arched across the sky. Duffy and his friends hurried out to enjoy the rainbow together, but by then, it had already started to fade. Noticing her friends’ disappointment, LinaBell blew a soap bubble and showed a rainbow on it. “That’s it! We can make our own rainbows!” Duffy exclaimed,
and their smiles sparkled like rainbows.

ENTERTAINMENT PROGRAM

Duffy and Friends’ Colorful Happiness Journey
Location: Waterways of Tokyo DisneySea
Performances: 2–3 daily
Duration: About 20 minutes

In “Duffy and Friends’ Colorful Happiness Journey,” Duffy and all of his friends, dressed in their 20th anniversary outfits, board a boat they decorated themselves and embark on a journey. Guests will be able to enjoy a story that unfolds aboard the DisneySea Transit Steamer Line from various locations around the park.

Notes:
– “Duffy and Friends’ Colorful Happiness Journey” will not be presented from July 1 through September 15, 2025.
– Entertainment programs are subject to change or cancellation due to weather or other conditions.

DECORATIONS

At the entrance to Passaggio MiraCosta at Tokyo DisneySea, a banner depicting the number “20” and Duffy and all his friends will welcome guests visiting the park. Additionally, festive art will be displayed around Via Paperino in Mediterranean Harbor.

Cape Cod, a place special to Duffy and his friends, will also celebrate the 20th anniversary with heartwarming decorations themed to rainbows and soap bubbles, as well as decorations featuring Duffy and Friends motifs.

Furthermore, decorations that immerse guests in the world of Duffy will adorn both the interior and exterior of Miguel’s El Dorado Cantina, enhancing the special atmosphere throughout Tokyo DisneySea this year.

SPECIAL MERCHANDISE

An array of special 20th anniversary items will be available, featuring rainbow and soap bubble designs that reflect the gentle nature of Duffy and Friends, who find joy in the little things.

Among the available special merchandise are plush charms of Duffy and each of his friends holding a bubble-shaped case with “20” printed on it. The case can also hold a special patch celebrating the 20th anniversary. Additionally, rainbow-inspired costumes for all seven plushes will be available.

SPECIAL MENUS

To celebrate the Duffy and Friends 20th: Colorful Happiness, Tropic Al’s will offer milk teaflavored crème brûlée churros that come in packages adorned with one of seven unique designs featuring all seven of these beloved characters.

Miguel’s El Dorado Cantina, specially decorated for the 20th anniversary, offers a dining experience where guests can celebrate the world of Duffy. A special Duffy set featuring seasonal soups will also be available during the special event.

Additionally, guests can look forward to a variety of souvenirs that come with menu items, including popcorn buckets themed to the 20th anniversary, making it easy to celebrate Duffy and Friends in style.

DISNEY HOTELS

Restaurants at Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta will offer special menus and drinks to commemorate this exceptional year. From April 8 to July 2, three restaurants will feature special menu items. These dishes, featuring motifs inspired by Duffy and Friends and soap bubbles, as well as colorful designs reminiscent of rainbows, will elevate the festive atmosphere for guests celebrating the 20th anniversary.

DISNEY RESORT LINE

In celebration of the Duffy and Friends 20th: Colorful Happiness special event, the Disney Resort Line will feature the Duffy and Friends Colorful Happiness Liner, as
well as day passes with limited-period designs. Guests are invited to experience the joy of Duffy and Friends’ 20th anniversary this year aboard the Disney Resort Line.
