Disney Fantasy Cruise Ship – Galley Tour (Guest Photo Blog)
Editors Note: One of our long time friends and contributors went on a 7 night Caribbean Cruise aboard the Disney Fantasy in August 2014. This was his second Disney Cruise, he went on the Dream in 2011. I am going through his pictures and sharing some in a series of blog posts. The pictures are his but the captions were added by me. I want to thank him and his family for sharing their pictures with us. Future posts will include towel animals, the Aqualab, Disney Characters, and more. If you would like to see more Disney Cruise Pictures here are mine from aboard the Dream in December 2011
The “DF Galley Tour” was discovered by Mark through his server at dinner one evening. He stopped by the Guest Relations Desk to learn more and sign up that evening. The tour lasted approximately 30 minutes and was free of charge. The entire time was spent in the main galley for the Animator’s Palate and Royal Court restaurants. In the pictures below you will get a look around the galley, it was quiet and empty during the tour for the most part but you can imagine it during a peak seating. A couple of interesting notes that were shared. No food food is carried over from one seating to the next. All left overs/un-served meals are thrown away. The galley is completely cleaned and sanitized after each meal. The group assembled and was led into the galley.
