Pool Renovation Status at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel (Several Pictures)

The pool area at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel is closed for renovation.  Here is a look from Friday morning:

The interior of the Grand Californian Hotel is also being renovated.  In the lobby they have some artwork, pictures and samples of the rooms.  Here is a post featuring a look at this display.

A check of the status on 5/12 shows one pool and spa open but the water slide and other areas are still closed.  Here are pictures from 5/12.

The renovation work was complete and the pools were reopened when I visited on Thursday May 25th.  Here are pictures of the completed project.
