Disneyland Downtown Disney World of Disney Renovation Underway (several pictures)
Half of World of Disney is now closed for renovation. From the center of the store to the entrance by Starbucks is walled off. It is scheduled to reopen in the summer (July time frame) at which point the the other half will be closed for renovation. The entire project is scheduled to run into the Fall.

Upon entering the center door there are now walls. To the left an opening to reach the store. Looks like the designed it to quickly switch from one side to the other later this year.

A new wall spans the entire room floor to ceiling.
It felt like the portion that was open had more merchandise racks and felt crowded.
