Disneyland New Parking Structure Status Check (2/23)
A new parking structure will be built on the Pinocchio Parking lot adjacent to the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure. As part of this project the tram stop will be rebuilt too. The first phase of preparations are underway to re-configure/re-route the existing tram route to accommodate the construction. For more pictures be sure to visit our full Disneyland Picture Set. In this first picture you can see two new stops that are just about ready. Wonder if that ramp is for the rear of the tram or if they are going to reverse direction and go counterclockwise through the area.
A closer look at the new ramp.
The Pinocchio lot is now permanently closed and demolition work is underway. Lights and trees are being removed and the asphalt is being prepared to be removed.
A closer look around.
The landscaping along the Mickey and Friends structure has been removed.
A large portion of the Chip and Dale level will be for the trams soon.
Here you can see what a new tram route taking shape. In the distance markers for another stop.
To the far right nothing has changed, wonder if this will be a parking area for trams that are not in use.
