No Disneyland All-American College Band in 2021

Today it was announced that the Disneyland Resort All-American College Band program will once again be suspended for 2021 due to the park closure and COVID.  The program was also cancelled for the 2020 season.   The announcement was made via the band’s social media channels (Facebook / Instagram)

Here is the statement from their page:

We want to provide you with information regarding the All-American College Band. As you can imagine, a tremendous amount of advanced planning, recruitment and coordination is required to produce the All-American College Band each program year. Given there continues to be much uncertainty as to when our theme parks at the Disneyland Resort will be able to reopen, we have made the very difficult decision to suspend the All-American College Band program for 2021.

Given the great history of the program and having been an important part of our heritage, along with the talent and energy that participants bring each year, this was not an easy decision to make. We understand how disappointing this news may be for many of you, and we share your sentiment.

We remain committed to bringing the All-American College Band back in future years. Please stay in touch and keep an eye out for more information. We greatly appreciate your understanding during these continued times of uncertainty.
