WDW Pictures: Caravanning ‘Round the World @ Contemporary Resort (Jan 2021)

Walt Disney World reopened in July 2020 after the COVID-19 Pandemic closure with modifications to the entertainment offerings.  Traditional entertainment, parades and character meet and greets are suspended.  In their place are cavalcades and character greetings. I have separate posts looking at the cavalcades and greetings at the Magic Kingdom as well as Disney’s Hollywood Studios, see links below.  At Disney’s Animal Kingdom the characters cruised around the Discovery River on boats as part of a series of flotillas.  At EPCOT these experiences included characters in Future World as well as traveling around World Showcase by car.

In addition to the parks some characters hit the road and were part of the Caravanning Round the World taking an RV to various Disney resorts to greet guests there.  We stayed at Bay Lake Tower @ Disney’s Contemporary Resort and encountered Goofy & Pluto a couple of times during our visit. There were no announced/posted times for these experiences.  Here are some pictures from Jan 20, 2021 –
