Disneyland announced that Mickey’s Toontown to Reopen @ Disneyland on March 8, 2023.

An ambitious reimagining of MickeyÕs Toontown in Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California, will debut in early 2023, alongside the new attraction, Mickey & MinnieÕs Runaway Railway. Building on the legacy of MickeyÕs Toontown, Imagineers are working to create some all-new experiences so families and young children can have more opportunities to play together in Disneyland park. One of the new areas coming to MickeyÕs Toontown at Disneyland Park in early 2023 will be CenTOONial Park, the first space guests will see when they enter. This natural space will be anchored by two interactive play experiences. At the center of CenTOONial Park will be a fountain, designed for play, which will also become a center icon for MickeyÕs Toontown. As its base, water tables will invite guests to play with the water and have a sensory experience. At night, the fountain will be brought to life in a unique spectacle. A nearby dreaming tree will be inspired by the tree a young Walt Disney would daydream under in his hometown. Sculpted tree roots will provide an opportunity for children to play, crawl and explore, and undulating topography will offer rolling hills and a place to sit and dream. Mickey’s Toontown – Donald’s Boat Donald’s Boat and Duck Pond are coming to Mickey’s Toontown at Disneyland park when it reopens in 2023. Around Donald’s Duck Pond are larger-than-life spinning water lilies, balance beams and rocking toys that will keep adventurous kids busy. And for those who like a little splash in their step, a flood of fun awaits. Mickey’s Toontown is currently undergoing an exciting transformation into a vibrant symphony of sights, sounds and sensations. Once guests step into the cartoon world of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, they’ll board a train with Goofy as the engineer for an out-of-control adventure filled with surprising twists and turns.
