Daynah’s World of Color Dining Package Experience
My sweet family took me out for a birthday dinner at Magic Key Terrace. This was my first dining experience at this restaurant. My family selected the World of Color Dining Package so we could have a nice meal and enjoy a prime viewing spot for the new World of Color show, Season of Light.
When we arrived at the parks around 5pm and made dinner reservations via the Disneyland app for the 7:30pm time slot, just before hopping onto the tram. We arrived at Disney California Adventure and enjoyed many of the new musical performances for Festival of the Holidays. At a little before 7:30pm, we made our way to the Magic Key Terrance to check-in for dinner. They took us upstairs and seated us at a round table.
World of Color Dining Package
For dinner, we opted for the World of Color Dining Package, which is a prix fixe menu where we can selected our items for the 3-course meal for a fixed price of $69. Starters included a Jolly’s Tomato Basil Soup or Caesar Salad. Entrees included Route 66 Fried Chicken, Angry’s Roasted Harissa Cauliflower, Luca’s Seafood Pasta, or San Fransokyo Square Beef Short Rib. Lastly, for dessert, there was the Raspberry Macaron.
Review of Dinner Items
- Caesar Salad – Little Gem Lettuce, Pepita Caesar Dressing, Roasted Garlic Crouton and Parmesan.
The salad was good and tasted like a typical caesar salad, except for the fact that the lettuce pieces were huge, which made eating it a bit difficult. We used the side of our forks to cut the pieces we could. - Route 66 Fried Chicken – Fried Cornish Hen with Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Roasted Seasonal Vegetables and Mushroom Herb Gravy – $31.00
I tried some of my sister’s dish and it was amazing. The plate is a whole cornish hen and is so crispy and flavorful. I would get this dish next time. - Luca’s Seafood Pasta – Pesto-Marinated Grilled Shrimp, White Wine-Steamed Clams, Spanish Chorizo and Pappardelle Pasta, tossed in a Spicy Cream Tomato sauce. – $35.00
This is a great dish for seafood lovers. It is a bit messy to eat since the shrimps are huge and I had to hold it down with my fingers. Delicious and a bit on the spicy side. - Raspberry Macaron – Almond Cake, Buttercream, Raspberries, Macaron Pieces, Chocolate and Raspberry Sauce
We were all full when it was time for dessert, so we asked them to pack it to-go. I ate it later that night and I could not get enough of it. The freshness of the raspberries and the almond cake made me so happy.
Dinner was great. The waitress asked if we wanted to see the 9:30pm or the 10:15pm show so she could get our tickets. We opted for the later show so we could enjoy all the new holiday events.

Lovely view of World of Color show – Season of Light. Our viewing area was empty, so there was plenty of space to move around.
