Disney California Adventure Re-Launch Coverage (2012)
What a busy week. My week started out with an Annual Passholder preview of Cars Land and Buena Vista Street on Monday. Then Wednesday I headed south to Anaheim to spent three days covering the reopening of Disney California Adventure. In the course of those three days I spent a total of 41.5 hours in the parks. Logging just over 20 mile, snapping over 5,400 pictures, taking 61 video clips for just under 3 hours of footage, and sending out just over 150 tweets as I roamed the parks.

- 6/13 Part I: A look around my room at the Grand Californian then a walk around DCA to see the final preparations for the evening as well as a very brief stop at Disneyland to check out the newly opened Carnation Cafe.
- 6/13 Part II: The Celebrity Arrivals on the Red Carpet, the Cars Land Premiere, and the Cars Land celebration afterwards.
- 6/14 Part I: Cars Land pictures including the stores as well as Radiator Springs Racers plus some other random pictures from the day such as the views from the Grand Californian Terraces.
- 6/14 Part II: Buena Vista Street Tour including the Premieres of Five & Dime and the Red Car News Boys plus an extensive look through the interiors of all the shops on Buena Vista Street.
- 6/14 Part III: The evening featured a party to Celebrate Buena Vista Street as well as the Mad T Party. Then the evening was capped off with a performance of World of Color featuring Glow with the Show Ears and the new Brave segment.
- 6/15 Part I: DCA Grand Re-opening Ceremony, the march to Cars Land with the first guests, and some pictures of the opening crowds exploring Cars Land
- 6/15 Part II:Instant Concert… Just Add Water, Voices of Liberty, All American College Band, Matterhorn Climbers, Dancin With Disney, and a look around both parks.
