The Space Shuttle Endeavour arrived in Los Angeles today as its final flight came to an end. Before landing at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) the shuttle was flown around Los Angeles for photo ops and people to see. The shuttle is transported atop a modified NASA Boeing 747 and there are two smaller NASA planes accompanying it and taking photos. After landing it was prepped and eventually moved on roads to the California Science Center in Exposition Park. Here are some pictures of the shuttle on display.
Here is a picture of the aircraft rolling out of a turn with the Griffith Park Observatory in the background. I took this picture from a parking structure at the University of Southern California. For more pictures visit my full picture set of the Space Shuttle Endeavour Arriving in Los Angeles
