New Disneyland Band Debuted on Friday, July 17, 2015 (Pictures & Video)

New Disneyland Band Debut - 11:30 Town Square on July 17, 2015

As part of the 60th Anniversary Celebration on Friday at Disneyland a new version of the Disneyland Band debuted. There were four scheduled sets in the time guide:

  • 11:30am – Train Station/Town Square
  • 12:30pm – Sleeping Beauty Castle -> Main Street
  • 1:45pm – Frontierland Entrance -> Golden Horseshoe
  • 3:05pm – Frontierland Entrance -> Golden Horseshoe

I attended the Town Square and the two in Frontierland. The music was a mix of movie and theme park in Town Square with a style very similar to the All-American College Band (and in the same vein as the Disneyland Bands we saw in Tokyo and Hong Kong in the Spring). It was a little faster tempo and more drill/marching than the original Disneyland Band. The two Frontierland sets were identical on Friday. Not sure if it will always be that way or just because it is the first day.

Here is video of the 11:30am set:

What do you thinking of this concept of a smaller single topic/picture subset post pulled from my larger picture set? Worthwhile or too redundant?
