Happiest Book Ever by Bob Shea

The Happiest Book Ever is just about that — being very happy! In true Bob Shea style, every page is full length in bright colors and fun with colorful images. Well, all except for the grumpy frog. The book tries its best to remove the frog and when it finally does, it realizes that to be happy was to have the frog there to join in with the celebration.

Daughter’s Reaction

My 5 year-old daughter enjoyed this book, especially because of the grumpy frog! She thought the pages were absolutely fun and laughed as I read through the book.

Overview

I loved the idea of the book writing the story about itself. The pages were all colorful and made me laugh too. The book style is definitely unique and hilarious. I would recommend this book for young readers, ages 4 – 8.
