The Tokyo Disney Resort Line Monorail started operation on July 27, 2001. The line features four stops – Gateway Station, Disneyland Station, Bayside Station and Tokyo DisneySea Station. Unlike Disney Monorails here in the U.S. the Tokyo version is operated as a transportation system that has a fee to ride so you have to buy tickets or use a fare card.
