2023 has brought a flurry of news from Disney Parks around the world. Here is a quick summary of the announcements and news (plus some other upcoming dates to note).
Disneyland Resort
- Park hopping will start at 11am – February 4th
- PhotoPass Digital Attraction Photos – Included for all tickets starting February 4th
- Magic Key Passes will be sold throughout the year as inventory is available
- Disneyland
- Wondrous Journeys – January 27th
- Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway – January 27th
- Magic Happens Returns – February 24th
- Mickey’s Toontowon to reopen March 8th
- Adventureland Treehouse – Opening 2023
- Disney California Adventure
- World of Color – ONE – January 27th
- Lunar New Year Celebration – January 20 – February 15
- Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival March 3 – April 25
- Downtown Disney
- La Brea Bakery Closed 1/9
- Earl of Sandwich Will Temporarily take over the location starting in February
- Porto’s Bakery will be built on that location in the future
- Disney Home and WonderGround Gallery to close temporarily
Walt Disney World Resort
- Magic Kingdom –
- Epcot
- Harmonious to end April 2nd and Barge removal to start soon after
- Epcot Forever to return April 3rd
- New Epcot Fireworks show will debut later in 2023
- Disney Resorts – Self Parking is included again starting January 10th
- Walt Disney World Annual Passholders will not be required to have a park reservation after 2pm except for Sat & Sun @ Magic Kingdom – Starting soon, no date announced
- Genie+ will include digital downloads of PhotoPass attraction photos – Starting in the next few months, no date announced
